That’s the way every morning should start.
So start your morning… rock out to music and get your first cup happy.
I think I sat and tried to write this blog post half a dozen times. This mornings coffee and blog post was interrupted by the kid and her amazing morning attitude. The second attempt was interrupted by the husband and menu discussions for the upcoming week and then into finances. Thought about writing again but decided against since my mood wasn’t in a happy place.
Went shopping with the kid and thought about getting coffee which might lead to a picture or inspiration for a post while we were out. But we ran out of time since she needed to meet a classmate to finish a project.
Came home and took a relaxing shower. Came upstairs to make coffee to hopefully write blog again. Instead had the husband fueled about the kid. So we all talked… mostly us angry… kid annoyed.
I made coffee brought it downstairs. Tried to drink but emotions still high. Talked to kid again after her classmate left. We all got on the same page. Things resolved.
I tried to write again… that’s when the picture was taken. But alas, I got part way when hockey started.
So, it is now the next day. I finally finished. And instead it’s more a recap of life unfolded yesterday. Oh well.
Coffee, drink all the coffee
I need to stop thinking I’ll get more sleep. I need to just be grateful when it happens. That’s my new philosophy. Otherwise I’ll be disappointed.
This morning it worked out well that I didn’t sleep in like I had planned. Ashlynn has a presentation in her American Studies English class today so I helped her finish pulling her journey snacks together… her journey has to do with Mountains… travel snacks is what she’s bringing to share in class.
I was hoping I’d go back to sleep after she left. Nope. Instead, started coffee and cleaned the kitchen while I was waiting for it to brew. Now I’m awake and enjoying snuggles on the couch with my blessed first cup.
Happy first cups
