Mischief in a Cup

Do you ever wake up and feel mischievous? That’s this morning.

So I started the coffee brewing picked out my cup and looked around the kitchen. It was messy from last night’s breakfast for dinner. So I emptied the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher and washed all the hand wash only items.

The coffee brewed and smelled amazing and waited patiently for me to finish.

As I sit to enjoy a leftover Danish and fruit with my coffee I feel accomplished in a still quiet house. Ok, not quiet the husband woke up and sat with me and we enjoyed having breakfast together. Talking about how he is a bus driver… ok, not really. He uses a computer system called a bus. I’m amused with this concept. Apparently there are very few bus terms in the system… very disappointing.

So I’m guessing you’re reading and realize there is a lack of mischief in my morning. Yep.

I guess that’s why I need to find Mischief in my Cup.

Happy first cup.

Time Change Part 2

So, have I mentioned I don’t like time change? I also don’t really pay attention to the actual time in the mornings… just how long it will take me to get to work. After racing out the door in a frantic without makeup or hair up looking at the how long my commute was not the actual time I was going to be late. Or at least so I thought. Um, yeah… nope. 1 hour early. Both my car and phone have the correct time however I was looking at the how long it will take, 38 mintues. So today I now look put together… makeup and hair done in the parking lot of Caribou. Plus I have more coffee, breakfast and lunch and still more time to kill. Hope your day is filled with some amusement in my morning.

Full Cup

Do you ever smell your first cup? Confession… I always smell mine. Today no different… just be careful if it’s a full cup… nose in coffee is bad. Drinking coffee is good. So today,  smell your first cup. What does it smell like? Savor your first sip. Stop and smell the roses…. ahem… coffee.

Make Coffee

Sometimes life gives you beans… in which case make coffee. Yes, I know… lemons… but coffee is way better than lemonade. So, make your coffee and tackle your day. Yep.

Changing of the Times

Sweet elixir of caffeine… it’s been 16 days without a post. But today is a new day. A day that is still dark even with the silliness that is daylight savings. Maybe today’s coffee and the several that follow will keep me going on this day after the time change. Let’s hope.

Enjoy your first cup… or cups.
